Dear reader, Have you ever thought of a straw bale house or catching up rain for a household? Well to be honest, the combination crossed my mind only a while ago. I once visited a house where a pond filled with water, an engineer created drinking water by filtering the water with reed. In the program ‘Grand Design’ presented by Kevin McCloud, someone had build a straw bale house. And when I was staring outside the window where the rain was falling, creating circles in the ditch, I started to work out my idea. On my journey with the start of my small plan, soon different events happened where I had to think it over and had to find a solution for. And then I understood the ‘problems’ you see people come across when they will realize their new way of living. So what is this site exactly? It is a scouting expedition to a natural way of living. From concept to realization, by collecting information and facing obstacles crossing the road. The most thrilling is if this ‘dream’ will be fulfilled. It has not be perfect but it’s a goal.
